Recipe Ingredients
- 3/4 pound pork belly
- 1/2 diced white onion
- 1-2 garlic cloves
- 16oz box of orzo
- 1-1 1/2 cup of chicken bone broth
- 2 eggs
- 6 oz pecorino cheese
- Cracked pepper n salt to taste
Recipe Directions
- Sear the pork belly in a pan until crispy.
- Remove the pork belly from the pan and set it aside.
- Sauté the onion and garlic in the pan until softened.
- Add the orzo to the pan and cook according to package instructions.
- Add the chicken bone broth to the pan and bring to a simmer.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and pecorino cheese.
- Slowly whisk the egg mixture into the orzo mixture, until the sauce is thickened.
- Serve the orzo topped with the crispy pork belly and cracked pepper.
