German Pancake Recipe Ingredients
- ½ cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup whole milk
- 3 large eggs (beaten)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2-3 tbsp butter
- ½ tbsp powdered sugar
German Pancake Recipe Directions
- Add your pan to a 425F oven for 20 minutes before starting batter.
- Add all ingredients to a bowl or blender.
- Whisk or mix thoroughly until smooth.
- Let the batter set for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Once the pan is preheated, add butter and let melt.
- When the butter is melted, pour the batter into the pan and place the pan back into the oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove pancake from the oven, place on a plate, shake some powdered sugar over the top and add any other toppings.
Berry Compote Recipe Ingredients
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1 cup white sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon.
Berry Compote Recipe Directions
- Place all ingredients in a pan over med-high heat.
- Once berries start to heat up and release their juice, use a small masher to mash the berries and combine with the sugar and lemon juice.
- After all the berries are mashed, let the mix simmer over medium heat until compote thickens and reduces for about 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
