German Pancake Recipe Ingredients

  • ½ cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 3 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2-3 tbsp butter
  • ½ tbsp powdered sugar

German Pancake Recipe Directions

  1. Add your pan to a 425F oven for 20 minutes before starting batter.
  2. Add all ingredients to a bowl or blender.
  3. Whisk or mix thoroughly until smooth.
  4. Let the batter set for 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Once the pan is preheated, add butter and let melt.
  6. When the butter is melted, pour the batter into the pan and place the pan back into the oven for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove pancake from the oven, place on a plate, shake some powdered sugar over the top and add any other toppings.

    Berry Compote Recipe Ingredients

    • 1 cup blueberries
    • 1 cup raspberries
    • 1 cup blackberries
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • Juice of 1 lemon.

    Berry Compote Recipe Directions

    1. Place all ingredients in a pan over med-high heat.
    2. Once berries start to heat up and release their juice, use a small masher to mash the berries and combine with the sugar and lemon juice.
    3. After all the berries are mashed, let the mix simmer over medium heat until compote thickens and reduces for about 20 minutes.
    4. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
