Seafood Paella Recipe

Recipe Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen seafood mix (defrosted)
- ¼ onion, diced
- ¼ red bell pepper, diced
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 3 Tbsp chopped cilantro
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup paella rice
- 1 cup steeped saffron water
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp all-purpose seasoning
- 1 tsp seafood stock powder
- Jumbo shrimp, for topping
Recipe Directions
1. Prepare Ingredients:
- In a pot, sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened.
- Add cilantro and tomato sauce, stirring to combine.
2. Add Rice and Seasoning:
- Stir in paella rice, saffron-infused water, turmeric, all-purpose seasoning, and seafood stock powder.
3. Cook the Paella:
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the seafood mix.
- Arrange jumbo shrimp on top, cover with a lid or foil (traditional method), and reduce the heat to low.
4. Simmer and Serve:
- Let the paella cook for 20–25 minutes or until the rice is tender.
- Remove the lid, garnish with extra cilantro if desired, and serve hot. Enjoy!
