Skillet Lasagna Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef, ground turkey, or italian sausage
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 24 oz pasta sauce
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella
  • Ricotta cheese

      Recipe Directions

      1. Season the ground beef (or meat of choice) with salt, pepper, garlic powder and minced garlic. Cook until meat is cooked through.
      2. Add pasta sauce and chicken broth and mix until well combined.
      3. Break apart 9 lasagna noodles and add them to the pan. Try to arrange them so that they are under the liquid.
      4. Turn burner on medium high and cook until pasta is al dente.
      5. Add heavy whipping cream and half of the shredded mozzarella. Mix.
      6. Add 5-6 spoonfuls of ricotta cheese on top, and add remaining mozzarella.
      7. Cook at 350 degrees until the cheese is melted.
      8. Optional: Broil for a few minutes.
