Soy Sauce Noodles Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

Sauce Mixture

  • 4 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp five-spice powder
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp oyster sauce

Veggies

  • ¼ green bell pepper, sliced
  • ¼ yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • ¼ onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped

Noodles

  • 2 packages of cooked udon noodles

Recipe Directions

1. Make the Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, rice wine vinegar, salt, five-spice powder, sesame oil, and oyster sauce. Set aside.

2. Cook the Veggies:

  • In a large pan, sauté the green and yellow bell peppers, onion, and garlic until softened.

3. Combine Noodles and Sauce:

  • Pour the sauce mixture into the pan with the veggies and let cook for a couple of minutes.
  • Add the cooked udon noodles, stirring to coat them well in the sauce. Cook for 2 more minutes.

4. Serve:

  • Add chopped green onions, toss briefly, and serve hot. Enjoy!
