Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Eligibility

Big Flavor, Bigger Heroes Flavortown Recipe Contest (the "Contest") is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Mon Chateau and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

2. Sponsor

The Contest is sponsored by Mon Chateau, located at 7795 NW SUITE #101 BEACON SQUARE BLVD BOCA RATON, FLORIDA 33487

3. Agreement to Official Rules

Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.

4. Contest Periods

The Contest Entry Period begins on June 10, 2024 at 9:00am ET and ends on July 5, 2024 at 9:00pm ET (the "Contest Entry Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Entry Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Contest Entry Period using any of the following methods: Website entry form (Flavortown-Cookware.com/RecipeContest)

The Contest Public Voting Period begins on July 8, 2024 at 9:00am ET and ends on August 2, 2024 at 9:00pm ET (the “Contest Public Voting Period”). Any votes submitted before or after the Contest Public Voting Period will be disqualified. Votes will be accepted for the duration of the Contest Public Voting Period using any of the following methods: Website Voting page (Flavortown-Cookware.com/RecipeContest.

5. How to Enter

The method of entry will be available via Flavortown-Cookware.com, by following the provided instructions and filling out all required entry fields including, but not limited to: Name, Address, Email, Phone, Recipe Ingredients, Recipe Directions, Link to recipe video. Video must be no longer than sixty (60) seconds in length. If a Video exceeds sixty (60) seconds in length, only the first sixty (60) seconds will be judged. Video must be submitted via a public URL to a video-sharing website (example, YouTube, Vimeo), or your Entry will not be valid. The title of the Video must be clearly labeled on the video-sharing website as a “Big Flavor, Bigger Heroes Flavortown Recipe Contest” submission.  

Limit one (1) entry per person, duration of the Contest Entry Period. Entries received from any person, e-mail address, or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.  Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter may be deemed to be the entrant. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use entrant’s name, city, state, likeness, image, and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity in any and all media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval

6. Prize Drawing and Winner Notification

On or about July 8, 2024, the Sponsor will select 10 recipe semi-finalists from among all eligible entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential 10 semi-finalists via email and/or text. If the potential semi-finalists cannot be contacted within two (2) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the Sponsor will select an alternate semi-finalist in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries.

On or about July 8, 2024 at 9:00am ET the semi-finalist entries will be posted on the website Flavortown-cookware.com/recipecontest, in a randomized manner for the public viewing and voting.  All users may vote one (1) time per email address. Only votes received via the website will be valid. Voting will end on or about August 2, 2024 at 9:00pm ET. The results of the Public Voting, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion, will determine the winner (“Winner”), subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. The Voting Period, voting rules and procedures, and voting methods are subject to change, at the Sponsors’ sole discretion, and any changes will be posted on the Website. The maximum number of Votes allowed is currently limited to one (1) Vote per person per email during the Voting Period, but Sponsors reserve the right to change the limit on the number of Votes allowed, in their sole discretion. Notification regarding any such change will be announced on the Website.

On or about August 5, 2024 at 9:00am ET the Sponsor will attempt to notify the winner who secured the highest number of public votes, via email and/or text.  If the winner cannot be contacted within one (1) day after the date of first attempt to contact him/her, the Sponsor will select an alternate winner in his/her place from the semi-finalists who earned the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place in total number of votes. The winner will be required as a condition of continued eligibility to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Waiver of Liability, and, except where prohibited, Publicity Release (collectively, “Contest Documents”) within one (1) day of such notification.

7. Prize(s)

The 1st Place Winner prize package includes two domestic round-trip airline tickets to New Orleans, a two-night hotel stay, two VIP tickets to Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate, two tickets to Superbowl 58, a signed 12 Piece Set of Flavortown Laser Titanium Cookware, and an exclusive Meet & Greet with the culinary icon, the Mayor of Flavortown himself, Guy Fieri.

Prizes will also be awarded to the 2nd Place Winner (signed 3 Piece Fry Pan Set of Flavortown Laser Titanium Cookware), 3rd Place Winner (signed 12” Flavortown Laser Titanium Cookware Omelette Pan, and the 4th and 5th Place Winners (signed Kitchen Towel).
Laser Titanium hard anodized cookware features a new patent-pending technology with safe non-toxic cooking surface without potentially harmful chemicals (PFAS, PTFE, PFOA). The cookware is non-stick, 3 times harder than stainless steel, safe for metal utensils and is oven safe up to 700 degrees F° (lids up to 500F).

8. Coupon Reward:

Each contest entry and vote submission will receive a single-use $30 off coupon, which can be applied towards the purchase of a Flavortown Cookware Laser Titanium 3 Piece Fry Pan Set (valued at $129). Coupon expires at the end of the contest period (August 5, 2024).

9. Charitable Contribution:

For every Flavortown Cookware Laser Titanium 3 Piece Fry Pan Set purchased during the giveaway period, a $10 donation will be made by Flavortown Cookware to Homes For Our Troops (https://www.hfotusa.org/).

10. Disputes

Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Florida. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Florida, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Florida.

11. Additional Terms

Sponsors and/or Contest Entities reserve the right to terminate the Contest or permanently disqualify from any promotion any person they believe has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Contest or operation thereof is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsors, who may seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsors and/or Contest Entities reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest should any computer virus, malfunction, or other cause beyond their control corrupt the administration, security, or proper operation thereof. In the event of such cancellation, suspension, or modification, Prizes may not be awarded. Notice of cancellation, suspension, or modification will be posted on the Website. The failure of Sponsors and/or Contest Entities to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations), or other “force majeure” event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules. Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to entrants’ or to any other person’s computer and/or telephone relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with the Contest. Released Parties are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical, mobile telephone service, or computer failures of any kind; for inaccurate transcription of Entry Information; for errors in any promotional, marketing, or prize notification or fulfillment materials or in these Official Rules; for any human or electronic error; or for Entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed, lost, late, damaged, or returned. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest or any element thereof (including, without limitation, these Official Rules) without notice in any manner and for any reason (including, without limitation, in the event of any unanticipated occurrence that is not fully addressed in these Official Rules).  In the event of cancellation, modification, or suspension, Sponsors reserve the right to select Winners in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the time of the event warranting such cancellation, modification, or suspension.  Sponsors and/or Contest Entities may prohibit any entrant or potential entrant from participating in the Contest, if such entrant or potential entrant shows a disregard for these Official Rules; acts with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant, Sponsors, or Sponsors’ agents or representatives; or behaves in any other disruptive manner (as determined by Sponsors and/or Contest Entities in their sole discretion). Sponsors reserve the right to modify these Official Rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Sweepstakes.
