Garlic-Lime Tequila Shrimp with Crostini Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice and zest of 2 limes
  • ¼ cup tequila
  • 2 tbsp Flavortown Chipotle Hot Sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 baguette, toasted (crostini)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Recipe Directions

    1. Heat butter and oil in ceramic pan. Add garlic until fragrant.
    2. Toss in shrimp, season, and cook until just pink.
    3. Add tequila carefully and flambé if safe; reduce slightly.
    4. Stir in lime juice, zest, and Flavortown Chipotle Hot Sauce. Garnish with parsley.
    5. Serve with toasted crostini.
