One-Pot Beef & Beer Skillet Chili Mac Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Flavortown Chili Rub
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup lager or ale beer
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup pepper jack cheese
  • 2 tbsp Flavortown Hot Sauce
  • Salt & pepper
  • Green onions, sliced (garnish)
  • Crispy fried onions (garnish)

Recipe Directions

  1. In ceramic skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Season with Flavortown Chili Rub.
  2. Add butter and flour, stirring to create a roux. Cook 1-2 minutes.
  3. Slowly whisk in beer, then beef stock. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in macaroni and cook until al dente.
  5. Reduce heat, stir in cheeses and Flavortown Hot Sauce until creamy.
  6. Garnish with green onions and crispy fried onions. Serve directly in skillet.
